Backstage Beauty at LFW AW 12

I was at London fashion week working on the Clements Ribeiro Show as part of Cassie Lomas’ make up team. We went for glossy eyelids, natural beautiful skin with a bright pink lip Matte lip. This along with Sam McKnights’ whipped bun and chic black hair and, worked really well with Clements Ribeiro’s electric folk themed collection. I have been catching up in other designers and the other beauty trends that came through. At Acuascutum and Erdem we seen ‘mini flicks’, while Erdem showed floating flicks from the socket line to brow, Acquascutum made a more geometric shape, squared liner with a more Japanese inspiration. Both teamed with a natural lip and beautiful skin. Again, ‘brows’ are present, this season at Christopher Kane and Matthew Williamson. Last season we seen big bushy brows, this season we see a more defined brow, using the natural shape of the shape just intensifying the colour. Again lips were present at Gucci, Basso & Brooke, and Nicole Farhi, wine stained this time with Gucci giving a two toned glossy finish and Nicole Farhi keeping the lip matte. Also red lips seen at Pringle, Jonathan Saunders and House of Holland.
