Rebecca Ferguson Music Video with Cassie Lomas

I was ecstatic when I call the phone call asking me to assist Cassie Lomas on the new Rebecca Ferguson music video, ‘Glitter & Gold’. Not only do I adore Rebecca Ferguson, I think she’s so talented and beautiful, but I LOVE working with Cassie. Cassie taught me at her Academy in Manchester, and continues to advise, teach and support me as a make up artist.

The concept of the video is really cool, and Rebecca had a few make up and hair changes throughout the day, all fresh and beautiful. I did a Matt coral on Rebecca’s nails for the video, really nice for the summer! Her hair was amazing done by hair stylist, Bianca Tuovi, really Bridgett Bardot (I actually want this hair for my wedding day!)
The make up was beautiful, really bronzed, shimmer summertime feel with gorgeous long volumised lashes. For the second look, Cassie went for a heavier smokey eye, glossy lips and the hair was brushed out. Cassie used all her own products on the video, and below is no indication of what Cassie did or used on the day.

Now we are heading towards the summer months (and hopefully seeing some sunshine at last) I think lots of us will be sporting a real fresh bronzed look. Always make sure the base is flawless before adding any bronzer on the skin. I always like to apply primer, foundation, concealer and a brightener. To add shimmer, try using our CC Lip and cheek tints, if you have a darker time and want to build up with bronzer go for colour bronze, or the fairer ladies, use in colour pearl. This can be applied to cheekbones, down the centre of the nose, cuspids bow and I tiny bit on the brow bone. Before applying bronzer make sure you set the liquid that’s on your face, either use our CC HD loose powder, or our CC pressed powder which comes in 3 shades. If you want to add a contour to your cheekbones, suck in your cheeks to find the hallow, then using a fluffy angle brush apply into the hallows our CC Matt bronzer, this comes in 2 shades. Finally to give you a gorgeous summer glow, using a large powder brush, apply our CC shimmer bronzer over your cheeks, forehead and down the nose, basically the parts of your face that would naturally catch the sun!
